Mordenial brings the 90’s Melodic Death Metal era back to life with their new album The Plague, consisting of 10 amazing tracks, of pure Swedish legacy once held by bands like In Flames and Dark Tranquility
Mordenial started to write the material for the upcoming album in 2014, and by 2015 they had the album recorded and later sent to Ronnie Björnström for mixing and mastering at Garageland Studios. After the sessions were finished, they contacted the artist Roberto Toderico who did the artwork for “Where the angels fall” and he did an awesome artwork, that fits well with the concept of the album.
The plague is basically 10 different songs, dealing with the concept “Plague”, covering perspectives from a futuristic to a more ancient point of view.
As the band says, The plague is an heavy album with a lot of variations.
